Ms.Lindsey's Dedication

Before I was an ISR instructor I was an ISR mom. When my boys were 2 and 4 years old a friend and fellow softball mom asked if my boys could swim. My response was NO. I didn't even think twice about it because I didn't know the statistics or even the real danger.... I thought nothing of it actually. She insisted I bring them to her for ISR lessons. I did and the results were mind blowing to me. I was hesitant at first because it wasn't cheap, it was every single day, and my boys cried the first week or 2. However, when they started catching on and becoming skilled I was hooked and I was a complete advocate for ISR. Fast forward to my youngest girl about 3 years later. She was 1 when I put her in with the same instructor right before we moved to Orlando from West Palm, so I can make sure she was water safe in our new home with a pool. When I looked for refresher lessons I realized the need for an instructor here in Wedgefield. I drove everyday about 20 minutes to get my daughter her refresher lessons, and I thought if there was someone here locally within 10-15 minutes so many families would benefit from this program. So I did it. I became an instructor to Wedgefield and the surrounding communities. Not because this is a career move for me but because this is a movement! I truly believe #notonemorechilddrowns

I'm on  mission to help all families get their kids water safe and to make swimming the fun loving activity that it should be.
