ISR East Central Florida is dedicated to teaching children ages 6 months and older the competence and confidence they need in the water with survival swim lessons
6 Months+
Infants as young as 6 months old will learn how to float as well as how to get into the floating position from several different presentations so if they were ever to get to the water alone they can get to the surface, rest, and breath while they wait for help. Please keep in mind your child must be 6 months old and be able to sit unassisted in order to get registered and begin lessons
12 Months +
Children that are 12 months and older will learn the swim-float-swim sequence. This means that your child will learn to swim with their face in the water, roll to a float for air, and return to swimming. This skill is taught to children that not only are 12 months and older but that are also meeting all of the developmental goals required.
Refreshers
Children that have completed a session of ISR swim are asked to come back each year or as needed for refresher lessons. These lessons are designed to help your child's skills grow with their growing body.
